Low-budget Clothes Avenue du Mont-Royal The section of this Plateau-hub street from St-Laurent to St-Denis is lined with quaint second-hand stores where you can get all the flapper wear you'd ever want. The stores are small but the racks are full and the stock well-chosen. Chabanel Street Just north of the Métropolitain between St-Laurent and du Parc is schmataland: Montreal still has a large textile industry, most of which is located in this district.
