CLSC Rene-Cassin The Drop-In Centre is geared to clients who have experienced a loss of autonomy (related to a cognitive or physical disability) and their caregivers. The centre provides respite for family caregivers who care for a family member at home. Animators carry out activities and stimulate and care for clients. If you have a special skill that you would like to use in the Drop-In Centre call 488-3673, ext. 1351 or 1354.

Info-Abuse Line CLSC René-Cassin is looking for bilingual volunteers to answer their toll-free help line for seniors who are victims of elder abuse, including psychological, physical and financial abuse. Training is provided. Must be computer literate. Info: (514) 514-484-7878 ext: 1473 or 1436.

Literacy Unlimited This community resource dedicated to the advancement of literacy, is looking for English-speaking volunteers to help tutor high school students with low literacy skills. Approx. 2 hours per week. Tutoring is one-on-one and training will be provided. Call 694-0007.
