État d'Urgence 2009 Nov 25 - Nov 29 Under the large white tents and around the permanently lit braziers in the centre of the square, this festive, artistic, solidary, eco-friendly and free “Manifestival” proffers food, beds and front-line services to homeless people. Eclectic artistic programming is presented on the ÉU site and off-site as well at the Institut-Goethe, the Cinéma ONF and the Grande bibliothèque, and serves as a catalyst for unprecedented social encounter. Skate Your Heart Out! - Missing Children Network Fundraiser Nov 22 The Missing Children's Network invites fans of all ages to experience the dream of a lifetime by skating on the very same ice as our hometown heroes, the Montreal Canadiens. Several members of the team, including Canadiens centre, Glen Metropolit, will be on hand to sign autographs and pose for photographs.
