Chicken yum yum

Settling down to a dinner in North Carolina ain't nothin' without some good ol' fried chicken. For a Durham family, dinner was all but ruined when they opened up a box of frozen chicken and found something that looked a whole lot like a human foot. A human baby's foot.

Durham Police Cpl. J.C. Shelton was first to respond to the call. "It was the size of what you expect an infant's foot to be," he recalled, referencing its recognizable "toes and toenails." Shelton couldn't give an estimated weight though, as he refused to pick the thing up. But someone did, and sent it off to the lab.

"Once we x-rayed it, we could certainly see it wasn't human material," said Dr. John Butts. Butts determined the foot was just a chunk of dough - albeit a carefully sculpted chunk of dough. He reasoned that people were inclined to believe it was a human foot, "Because it looked like a human foot."
