Wasting Time

Legalized it: America's cornucopia of frivolous lawsuits is the product of an overly litigious society where, in some places like Chicago, Manhattan and Los Angeles, lawyers outnumber humans up to 12-to-1. These nuisance cases clog up the court systems, cost billions in legal fees and lost productivity and can be really, really funny. Like a cleaning lady who sued her employers when the "decorative candle" she stole turned out to be a huge firecracker, or the prison inmate who sued the state because the jail food made him fart. Deathmatch: Pong seems like an innocent enough game: two straight lines, a round thing, a bleep. But Battle Pong takes that concept and makes it real violent-like, with fire and projectiles and sharp objects. Do you have what it takes to beat the computer in the simplistic tennis arena of death? Probably - but it's fun to find out. Keep up a volley at www.ebaumsworld.com/battlepong.html.
