Big deal... |

The kids at Rockdeep are flying back into action with the next step taking place on Tuesday, March 23. These guys have been keeping a low profile as of late, but I expect that things will be picking up as the summer draws closer and all their various other projects come to a close. Hit the floor with their special guest A Rob next Tuesday. This Thursday, March 18, head down to Café Republique at Peel near Ste-Catherine for a little hip hop jam. Café Republique? Don't front. There's apparently going to be an open mic situation taking place, and breakdancing to boot. The entrance is free, and you can listen to DJ Static and DJ Ian do their thing while you sip chai. Oh, and someone said they'll be firing up the sheeshas as well, so make a move. Got a question for Paul Martin? Like to see him dance? Wonder what's really going on under all that grey hair? Well, send your questions to info@apathyisboring.com and they will make sure your concerns are addressed. The Web site should be up soon, with the aim to try and get the yout' interested in the political process in 2004. Look for www.apathyisboring.com very soon. Local producer (and sometime rapper) Ghislain Poirier has another album coming out on Chocolate Industries this summer. He's teaming up with Seba again, who was featured on his first LP, Beats as Politics, as well as collaborating with ex Anti-Pop personality and now solo entity, Beans. The album, called Breakupdown, should be here very soon. Ghislain is also doing a remix from the next Diverse single "Big Game," also on Chocolate Industries. Okay, okay...Pete Rock and CL Smooth seems to have fallen through, unless somebody out there isn't telling me something! Busta Rhymes managed to slide in and out without even a hello, so go figure... Seven reasons Mona's good at going down under: Yo Anit! Where's the beats?... fathead@videotron.ca |
