Finally, something worth paying 11 bucks to see. What started as a father/daughter movie outing turned foul when dad taunted the wrong thug at a Dorchester, Massachusetts, cinema. The incident started when the man's daughter put her feet up on the back of the seat in front of her. The group sitting there, which included one José Pujols, asked her to take them down. She complied. As the movie continued, Pujols' cell phone rang. Pujols took the call. Dad asked Pujols to turn off his phone, and an argument erupted. In a great showing of maturity, the father put his feet up on Pujols' seat. Not to be outdone, Pujols pulled a knife and stabbed the man in the foot. Police Lt. Richard Crowley summed the situation up with this great wisdom: "You have to obey movie house etiquette: Turn off your phone and don't put your feet up."' Just the same, Pujols was charged with assault and battery. » Scott Saxon |
