Man bites dog

Silly ol’ drunk

It was like Pooh, stuck in the door of Rabbit’s house. But nobody would notice until it was too late. Edward Charles Mills, a 29-year-old North Jersey man, arrived home after a night at the bar and realized he didn’t have his keys. He went around back and tried to gain entry through a small bathroom window, but his 300-pound body couldn’t quite fit. When he didn’t show for work the following Monday, friends got worried. Someone found a spare key to Mills’ place, and let himself in. Mills’ corpse was discovered lodged in the window—upper torso inside, still legs dangling into his yard.

Police believe Mills climbed onto some barrels to reach the window. Halfway through, he got stuck and, unable to go forward or back, eventually died of asphyxiation.
