A man recently arrested for exposing his anus while riding his bicycle around San Antonio, Texas - as reported in the June 26 edition of Man Bites Dog - has been found dead and naked at a Texas national park. Campers stumbled onto a pile of clothes at the edge of a bluff in Big Ben National Park. Peering over the cliff, they spotted the nude corpse of 52-year-old Joseph Gottschalk 100 feet below. It's not known if Gottschalk jumped or fell.

According to park rangers, Gottschalk had earlier talked to them about one of the park's popular trails. They said he was not acting in any unusual manner and was fully clothed at the time.

Gottschalk's ex-wife declined to comment on his death. Other family members could not be reached for comment. Rescue workers used pulleys to retrieve Gottschalk's corpse. It was then carried to the Chisos Mountains basin on the back of a mule.
