The softcore-Eurotica-themed Bleu Nuit soirées organized by the Project House (Bob Moore and Murad “The Persian Perversion” Meshgini, the cats behind Velcro, Bounce, Chemistry etc.) get their due this weekend. The pair have booked the Kamasutra gentleman’s club on St-Dominique, signed up DJs Bliss and Plastik Patrik, scrounged up their fave Euro-porn tapes and buffed the peeler poles to a high gloss. The Mirror got the bare facts from the debauched duo.

Mirror: How did you guys secure Kamasutra, and what alterations will you make to the place for the night?

Bob Moore: You ever wonder if there’s like, some sort of bonus prize after your 1000th lap-dance? The owner—who’s super-cool, incidentally—gives you your own party. We do have to alter the club a bit, mostly in terms of sound. We’re looking at a few dozen subs-speakers or something, with the crown-crossover super-flash conehead thingy. And that’s just for the accessory mic!

Murad Meshgini: What sets Kamasutra apart from your run-of-the mill peeler bar—and what makes it feel closest to home—is the lavish Persian styling of the space, smooth, plush and perfect for the Bleu Nuit theme.

M: And there will be exotic dancers on hand? What about lap dances? Couples érotiques feminins, kiddie-pool-full-of-jello dances, that sort of stuff?

BM: We’re working on it. Definitely, there will be dancers in the house, we’re just trying to figure out how to make it the sexiest, craziest, funnest vibe. As far as lap dances, I don’t know, but I can tell you that those booths at the back aren’t photomats, so I guess some shenanigans will be going down.

MM: I think maybe the line between regular partygoer and exotic dancer may be kinda blurred by the end of the night.

M: What about male dancers? I mean, you’re hoping for female patrons for this too, aren’t you?

BM: We’re not just hoping for but counting on the ladies. They’ve so far been the most enthusiastic. We did honestly consider professional male dancers, but upon consultation it seems non-nasty ones are hard to find. Instead, we thought we’d just get a bunch of hot guys wasted, then take their shirts off. They may not be pros, but we’ve got plenty that are up for a crack at the amateur circuit.
