Say amen, sisters |

It's the Psalm that uplifts and promises safety in the Lord. "You will find shelter under his wings," assures Psalm 91. The question remains, who was being sheltered - the driver of that car bearing the Psalm 91 license plate, or the two women he hit when his car crashed through the front of a Manitowoc, Wisconsin, bagel shop? Reed Van Ess, owner of Big Apple Bagels, was in his office at the time the black Cadillac plowed through the front doors of his shop. Exactly how it happened is yet to be explained. All that's known for certain is that the car entered the shop fully, showering the place in broken glass, slamming into a table where two women were dining and finally lodging itself under the soda fountain. Police described the driver as "visibly shaken." Not quite the stuff of God's wrath, as the two women are reportedly "both conscious, alert and breathing." » Scott Saxon |
