Last Saturday's anti-war march, like many others around the world that day, eventually turned violent. Protesters outside the U.S. consulate threw rocks, snowballs and sticks at police, after burning flags and staging die-ins. Baton-wielding riot cops eventually rushed the crowd, arresting nine. Mirror photographer Jason Felker was one of many people to receive an eyeful of pepper-spray.

Nevertheless, another march is planned for this Saturday, March 29, beginning at 11 a.m. at Bishop and de Maisonneuve. Organizers hope to hold a march every week the war lasts.
