Bingo vehicle bango

Police say nobody was at the wheel of the car that struck 82-year-old Evelyn Krzeminski in a parking lot outside a Pownal, Vermont, bingo hall, but there is something suspicious about it. After all, Krzeminski had been sentenced just two days earlier for negligent driving resulting in the death a 61-year-old Massachusetts woman.

You can call it coincidence. Krzeminski just happened to be walking by when another bingo-goer, Arthur Cote, got out of his nearby vehicle. Police believe he forgot to put the car in park, allowing it to roll forward, straight at Krzeminski and her friend. The car missed the friend but knocked the vehicularly-homicidal Krzeminski to the ground, causing injury to her left side and hand. Only then was Cote able to jump into his car and hit the brakes. Police say the incident was purely accidental, and no charges will be filed. :
