Had he known how serious she was, the 65-year-old Stanislaus County, California, man probably would have given his wife the sex. Just back from a stay in the hospital, though, he assumed she’d understand. She didn’t, and now he’s dead.

According to police Sgt. Al Carter, Kelli Pratt flew into a rage when husband Arthur turned down her advances, and “started tearing at his flesh with her teeth, pulling out huge chunks.” Arthur managed to dial 911 but, by the time police arrived, he was no more than a bloodied, quivering mound. He died shortly afterwards. Kelli, apparently still frisky, turned her incisors on an officer. Once restrained, she refused to be washed and was videotaped with her face and teeth covered in blood. Carter commented that she “had other things in her teeth too—flesh, chunks of it.”

Carter says he believes “there will be some issues of mental competency in this case.” :
