Wrong car,
Grasshopper

Of all the minivans in Hollywood, that beige one at the gas station will be remembered with the most regret by a 20-year-old Los Angeles man accused of carjacking. It was the last one he tried to heist. It was also the one transporting the Florida International University judo team.

Tyrone Hogan allegedly began his crime spree in the early afternoon, pulling a man out of his car and driving off with the man’s wife still in the passenger seat. Hogan tried to get the woman’s purse, then forced her out of the moving car. Deciding he was no longer safe in that vehicle, Hogan swerved into a gas station with his eyes on the minivan. He attempted to get behind the wheel, and that’s when the team beat Hogan bloody. When police arrived, Hogan was being held “like a pretzel on the ground.” He was treated for minor injuries and hauled off to jail. :
