naw jpeg Let the good times roll: For car fans out there less impressed by the hi-tech, aerodynamic marvels that roared in and out of town for the F1 than the blazin’ rides of yesteryear, here’s your chance to gawk and greet with likeminded grease monkeys. The first annual HepCat Hot Rod Bowl-a-rama takes place in the parking lot of the Salon de Quilles International (6590 Parc) on Saturday, June 22, from noon till midnight. Alongside all the chrome will be “vendors of all types” and live rock ’n’ roll at nighttime. Bring your Brylcreem. :

Graff riot: Graffiti artist Jean Labourdette (aka TURF One), shows his spraycan-derived creations at Noize (3697 St-Laurent) in the morbidly titled exhibit The Day Graffiti Died. It runs through June 25.

Holy watercolours: Wilder & Davis Luthiers (257 Rachel E.) hosts Popes and Ponytails, a new exhibit featuring portraits of popes, bishops and other assorted clergy by artist Jessie Brugger. The show, with works in media varying from charcoal to egg tempera to watercolour, runs from June 21–Aug. 16.

Hello my Darling: Ex-factory the Fonderie Darling has been used for various artistic purposes over the last few years-concerts and the like-and now its position as an officially recognized Cultural Space will be solidified with the launch of Quartier éphémère’s new, renovated gallery space there. The inaugural show, Ultra Vide, featuring works by Patrick Beaulieu, Serge Provost, Michael Robinson, Carl Ruttan, and Marla Sheriff, runs from June 21–Aug. 4. :
