The air up there

Over 20 years ago, French photojournalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand discovered the beauty of the world seen from high in the sky while floating in a balloon above Kenya. His outdoor photography exhibit Earth From Above: An Aerial Portrait of Our Planet is a testament to Arthus-Bertrand’s passion for aerial pics. Featuring 120 large-scale photos, the travelling show is the result of 10 years work, 3,000 hours of helicopter flight time and travels to over 85 countries spanning five continents. Take in the views on the west side of University, between de Maisonneuve and Ste-Catherine until Sept. 15. :
