Lettuce feed you: PETA activist Kristie Phelps decries the ills
of eating meat while handing out samples of Tofurky®, a soy-based,
turkey-flavoured meat substitute, to lunchtime passers-by on McGill College
and Ste-Catherine. The Wednesday demonstration was part of PETA’s
eastern Canadian tour that will take them to Ottawa, Toronto, London and
Quebec City.
