Money shot

A Long Island, N.Y. woman who suffered a hernia at work has been waiting nearly three months for her employer’s insurance company to accept her claim. The CIGNA HealthCare group has received papers from Robin Boerner’s doctors emphasizing the importance of immediate treatment, but that didn’t cut it. What they want are pictures of Boerner in a state of undress that she finds unacceptable.

“They want me to fax pictures of me in my bra and panties,” Boerner explained to WorldNetDaily.com, “with the panties pulled down to my crotch.”

A CIGNA rep told Boerner the claim would not be considered “favourably” until the photos were sent. She was also reassured that, “We have women faxing us pictures of their breasts all the time.” Boerner’s offer to send a photo of just the affected area was also not enough for CIGNA. They responded with a notice saying that they would not cover the surgery. :
