Snip
and tuck
It was something
needed, according to 41-year-old Web designer Ian Tresman. The man was
getting set to have himself rendered sterile, but all the information
he found was too medical. He wanted to give the world a
more regular Joe perspective, so he went for his vasectomy
and then put the whole thing on the Web.
My-vasectomy.com includes reminiscences, explanations of the surgery
and pictures of Tresmans vasectomy all laid out in a user-friendly
environment. With a warning to viewers on the title page, Tresman has
graded the pictures, taken during surgery by his wife, on a 1-10 squeamish
rating as a courtesy for the weak-stomached.
Faced with the notion of a vasectomy, many men tend to have fears, many
of which Tresman learned are unfounded. Most men are afraid of
it because it is an operation that is down there, says Tresman.
And men are a bit attached to down there. :
