And it came to pass on that night that a man visited a police station in Shelton, Connecticut and announced himself as Jesus Christ the Lord. And he beckoned officers to follow him. And they did. And the stranger made haste to his car, and told police to look inside. And on doing so a great discovery came unto them, for within this vehicle were 16 bags of crack.
“We stated that he had to get arrested for this,” said Shelton Police Detective Sgt. Michael Madden, “and he said ‘It is God’s will.’”

According to Madden, after the arrest, Lucas Patrick, 24, told the officers that they’d been saved. Later Patrick admitted to being under the influence of hallucinogens and pot laced with embalming fluid, but maintained that God was the reason for his decision to stop selling crack.

In addition to facing drug charges, a judge ordered Patrick to receive medical and psychiatric treatment. :
