Protesting against just this: Over 370 people—including the Mirror’s photographer—were arrested at Friday night’s Sixth Annual International Day Against Police Brutality march. It is believed to be the largest mass arrest in Quebec since the 1970 October Crisis. Most of those detained face charges of unlawful assembly, while others face breaking bail conditions and weapons possession charges.
