Goodbye Snake, hello Horse: Dancers celebrate the Chinese New Year at the Chinese United Community Centre on de la Gauchetière last Saturday. The Year of the Horse, called the Black Horse by purists because of Chinese astrological calculations far too complicated to relate here, began on Feb. 12, the second full moon after the winter solstice.
