Arty parties

Two fêtes this weekend put the “arty” into “party.” Friday night, Feb. 22, sees the official opening of artists’ space/gallery The Long Hall (450 Beaumont). There’ll be a vernissage at 8 p.m., followed by a super dance party. The next night there’ll be another one of The Group of n’s famous one-night art exhibitions, this one the romantically themed Slings and Eros. Expect craziness from a host of visual artists, spoken word folk and performance types. At the Group of n space (10 Ontario W., #802), 9 p.m., free. :
