of 5,000 social-housing units (500 reserved for the homeless), but the
papers have been packed with stories about demolished shantytowns, the
Café Campus beating and shelter cutbacks. Meanwhile, this St-Laurent
panhandler waits for Montreal’s winter to really start kicking in.
