Angel >> Jacques Villeneuve Outspoken Jacques put on the slicks a little early to deliver his views on Newtown, the evolution of language and common sense. In an old town fond of examining every inflamed pimple, Villeneuve laughed off the controversy over the English name gracing his much-hyped new bar on Crescent, calling on Quebecers to look beyond their noses at the big picture. It's not too often that someone with a voice loud enough to be heard blows into town to put things into perspective. Way to cut to the chase, James Newtown.

Insect >> Davey Hilton Jr. As if his bashed-in super-middle-weight face hasn't received enough attention, Davey's back in the news after appealing his wopping seven-year sentence for the sexual abuse of two underage sisters (see the last issue of Frank magazine for more details on his relationship to the sisters). The basis of Hilton's appeal? Seven years is too harsh since he has no previous convictions of a sexual nature and, even more laughable, the judge didn't give enough consideration to the fact that--as previous convictions should indicate--Hilton was pissed out of his gourd 99 per cent of the time and therefore not responsible for his actions.
