Rising from the ashes:
Various provincial government bigwigs turned out at the old Des Carrières incinerator near Rosemount metro on Sunday to announce their backing of Taz Mahal Skatepark's new digs. The province will be investing $2-million to transform part of the incinerator into the Taz's new home. Bourque also promised municipal support to cover Hydro and maintenance.
