    >> Ballot-box stuffers

Every year, eager readers send in their thoughtful Best of Montreal picks. However, it's an unfortunate reality that some sorry souls attempt to unfairly weigh the results in their own favour by sending in hundreds of identical ballots. Although the stuffers can occasionally show a dastardly cunning, most of the time these fakers are embarrasingly obvious, such as the fellow who repeatedly voted for himself, each time under his own name. Mirror readers can be assured that all illegitimate ballots were destroyed with extreme prejudice. And we thank those who took the time to give us their genuine opinion.
