The end of the university term always ushers in the year-end student show. And the Leonard and Bina Ellen art gallery is no stranger to hosting these kinds of shows--for over 20 years, they have hosted the Concordia faculty of Fine Arts' undergraduate student exhibition. This year's show, entitled Out of Order, like its predecessors, is entirely student-organized, from the student jury to the design and printing of the invites.

Out of Order showcases the work of talented artists across a broad range of disciplines. All kinds of media make appearances here: numerous styles of painting (from figurative to hard-edge abstraction), sculpture, photography, and instalation (both the sculptural and video varieties). The material and aesthetic diversity and the technical proficiency of the pieces provide great hope for the future of the local art scene. In the Library Building (1400 de Maisonneuve W.) until May 16.
