Rock 'n' Roll Halloween Party, Café Versace

Shake, rattle and (rock 'n') roll your bones with live band Sona. 8 p.m., free, 2827 Henri-Bourassa E.



Samhain Soirée, Club 4848

The Montreal Pagan Grove invites "pagans and the pagan-friendly" to celebrate the Celtic New Year/Day of the Dead in their best Goth digs. "Live" music by Ottawa bands Paradigm and Flammable Children is followed by Montreal's DJ Uriel spinning his dark, tangled web of sounds. There are also prizes for the best and most outrageous costumes and free candy for everyone. Free Samhain ritual at 7:30 p.m., party ($8) at 10 p.m., 4848 St-Laurent. Swingers' Halloween Party, Les Libertins de l'amour

House, R&B and hip hop Halloween, Le Medley

If you just have to wear that Puffy costume (sans firearms, preferably), this might be the place. Halloween Black Mass, Café Campus

Gloom 3, Centre des Loisirs du Parc

Halloween Bal de Nuit, Just for Laughs Museum

Reel to the tunes of DJs Maryse, Jester, Nikola T. at the annual fundraiser for Divers/Cité and the GLCCM.
