Made you look!
by MARITES CARINO
As the month-long Danses à l'Usine event winds down, there's something just around the corner to cure that impending dance withdrawal. It's called Projet Willams--Caught Looking, a show presented by Danse-Cité that puts three dancers and three choreographers centrestage, nightly.
If you didn't catch the Holy Body Tattoo last week, now's your chance to see their work. During their free time here, the Vancouver duo were putting the finishing touches on Cut, a tense duet created for Sarah Williams and Julie Slater. There's also Loups louves by Benoit Lachambre, a duet which explores the theme of objectification, to be performed by Williams and Heather Mah. And finally, there's X, created and danced by Williams and Mah. This show is unique because the audience is in the driver's seat--you'll see what I mean. At Agora de la danse (840 Cherrier), Nov. 2-4 and Nov. 8-11, 8 p.m., $14-21. Info: 525-1500.
