Selling out

Continuing in the Belgian theme this week, there's another one of those Quebec-meets-Belgium artistic connections on the horizon: L'Algebre d'Ariane, presented by Dare-Dare gallery, is an exchange project between Montreal and Liege. Commenting on consumerism and the concepts of customer service and "the comedy of the sale," the project is set up in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district in some vacant storefronts. This installation/performance/group show is at 4573-4579 Ste-Catherine and involves 11 artists.
