The results? Snorting Canadian equestrian Eric Lamaze beats a lifetime ban from amateur sports twice in the space of a month, while Cuban high jumper Javier Sotomayor's two-year ban for cocaine-use is halved in time for the Sydney Olympics. Either straighten out the rules or let the dope run free. After all, magic mushrooms were the drug of choice at the ancient Greek Olympics.
