Fly on the wall

Tsé-Tsé is a theatrical adaptation of The Fly penned by Olivier Choinière which melds '50s B-movie sensibilities with '50s-'60s Quebec politics.

Set in Montreal, the play--like the '58 original and Cronenberg's '86 remake--is about a genius scientist who, while toiling with a genetic transporter, begins to morph into a fly.

Tsé-Tsé opens this Thursday, Aug. 10 on the rooftop of the Théatre d'Aujourd'hui (3900 St-Denis), where it'll run until Aug. 25. Details at 527-2215. :
