Now the song's owner--Dovan Music Inc. of New York--has denied further uncopyrighted use of the song by Stockwell Day, who used it as part of his campaign to lead the Canadian Alliance. Day no doubt liked the sound of line "It's gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day." But now it's those who disdain the neo-con's attempt to stick a smiley face on the right wing who are singing happily. Insect >> The Weather Channel: We know you're not supposed to shoot the messenger, but what's up with these continual reports of dreadful, cold, rainy, decidedly un-summer-like conditions? These reports have numerous nasty potential side effects on humans, including irritation, a generally pessimistic outlook and depression. Despite complaints from virtually all Montrealers, Weather Channel types continue to press on with the bad news. Please, Weather Channel reporters, get some seasonal programming!
