Next weekend, way-out artists collective Farine Orpheline cherche Ailleurs Meilleur will descend upon the site of a demolished factory for Légende pour la farine orpheline, the last installment of their epic work-in-progress Utopia. "The history of this 'non-site' will be invoked, from the Big Bang into the future..." explains artistic director Marie-France Bojanowski.
This conceptual, multidisciplinary free-for-all will include music, installations, storytelling, experimental soundscapes, live video projections and land art which evoke the strata of time. It'll all be there. Will you? At 4201 Ontario E. (behind the Value Village), May 25-27, 7 p.m.-midnight. :
