The Festival de la litterature mondiale presents a world-wide selection of over 100 writers, comedians, dancers, and artists from around the world who will be reading and performing in Montreal and other regions of Quebec from May 12-20. At "La Valse des adieux de Louis Aragon," actor Jean-Louis Trintignant will read and perform a text by French writer Aragon, with music by Daniel Mille. May 17, 8:30 p.m., at the Lion d'Or, $52. Anne-Marie Alonzo, Christiane Duchesne and Abla Farhoud have combined their writing with dance in "Oser le corps." At l'Agora de la Danse, May 15-16, $10. There will also be readings by different writers every night at St-Sulpice, with jazz by Pierre St-Jak and Normand Guilbeault at "Les 5 à souhaits." Jake Brown is putting on a show in combination with his French counterpart, Kerozen, creating "Yawp!/Kerozen." This bilingual show of spoken word, music, and film will feature Iz Cox, Khan Gourou, les Abdigradationnistes and myself.
