Dance TNT

Be careful, it's going to blow! This week marks the explosion of a new annual dance event put on by reper-tory company Montréal Danse. It's called the Big-Bang Series and it's a chance for choreographers on the rise to set off some sparks.

A fine bunch of local choreographers will be presenting three of their most recent works. Estelle Clareton, an ex -O Vertigo dancer, uses the theme of loss in her quartet Je ne m'en souviens pas très bien. With his quintet Théodore coin Adam, the theatrical Jean-Pierre Mondor toys with reality and fiction. In Solitudes, Dominique Porte manipulates a group of four with the idea of abstraction in mind. So be among those who were present when it all began... Big-Bang #1 at Tangente (840 Cherrier), May 4-6 and May 10-13, 8:30 p.m., May 7 and 14, 7:30 p.m. :
