That's how I feel about the Bad Brains concert last Friday. If Foufs keeps up their stupid, sick-ass 11 o'clock show-stops-dancing-begins policy, it's no wonder out-of-town bands don't come to Montreal anymore. Bad Brains were okay for the time that they were on stage, but I would have liked a lot more than 40 minutes of music after I paid the fucking $26 to get in the door. I waited downstairs for three hours, talking with people all pushed together in one little corner, to finally be allowed upstairs to then wait even more. I think it's just ridiculous, the whole organization of the Bad Brains concert. Bye. [BLEEP!] M I just want to know who that rapper was that got up when H.R. was going nuts by himself after the Bad Brains left the stage, 'coz he was really good. The city needs more people like that! [BLEEP!] M Yeah, I'm calling about Mack Mackenzie. I agree that he was a great songwriter--one of the best ever ignored--but when I used to see Three O'Clock Train in the 1980s one of the highlights of the live show was his brother Stuart, who played a real mean-assed messy guitar. What happened to him? [BLEEP!] F This is for the evil COLONIZER scumbag who wants desperately poor people--bums begging for change--to die. You creep, it's people like you who ensure there are mountains of poor people underneath your greedy feet. It's you and your ancestors who got rich in the first place by murdering, stealing land, enslaving people and animals, stealing and selling cultures and destroying the environment. Somehow most people in the Western world have complicated what is very simple so they can appear advanced, sophisticated and civilized. We are plagued with the abuse of ourselves and others and nature. Physical, sexual, emotional and mental abuse now seem perfectly normal to us. Being unhealthy inside is normal, being greedy and vengeful is normal behaviour. But don't worry, because the problem is those people who look and sound different from you. If we limit and control them, the problem will be controlled and eventually solved and you can go back to counting your money and visualizing your next sexual experience. Everything's fine!
