If you missed it the first time around four years ago, Jean-Pierre Perreault's Les Annees de Pelerinage is back. Unlike his more populated choreographies like Joe or L'EXIL-L'OUBLI, Les Annees, which was inspired by the music of Franz Liszt, features intimate duets between men and women. Against Perreault's backdrop of sombre, mobile wooden panels, dancers explore the theme of relationships.
To get tickets, just pick them up a couple of days before the show at the Maison de la Culture Frontenac. But if they've all disappeared, don't worry, there's a smidgen of hope: all you have to do is go 45 minutes early and put your name on a waiting list. Depending on how many people use their free tickets, you may be able to score one of your own before curtain time. If you ask me, it's worth the risk.
At the 2550 Ontario E., Saturday, Feb. 12, 8 p.m., free.
