Sights of silence

Been meaning to get rid of that cute but tired kitten-in-a-basket poster on your living room wall? Now's your chance. This Sunday, Feb. 13, a troupe of talented artists hold a silent art auction, inviting artophiles and desperate redecorators alike to bid on pretty and fringy objets d'arts.

The auction, a benefit for the artsy-fartsy Plateau gallery/performance space Artishow, will showcase works by collage/sculpture guru mj stone and multi-functional sculptures by Karil Samodai, along with works by Carlo Alacchi, Roshell Bissett and Guilhem Senges.
