Holy Mary mother of God!
Giant nuns make their way through the route of last Saturday's Santa Claus parade. Strange as they may have seemed, the king-size penguins were a welcome respite from the procession of commercial sponsors. The parade featured floats sponsored by Complexe Desjardins, Place Montreal Trust, Eaton Centre and Promenades de la Cathedrale, as well as giant hot-air balloons in the shape of cute corporate mascots.
