All in a day's work
Over 300 unemployed Quebecers from across the province gathered at Le Medley at René-Lévesque and St-Laurent on Saturday to protest against the continuing tight-fistedness of Finance Minister Paul Martin with the federal Employment Insurance program.

A demolition notice was posted at 4441 St-Laurent, above Marie-Anne--the building renowned for its time-warped, Wild-West saloon-like appearance. Any objections to the demolition should be registered by November 15 at Room R.005 at city hall.
