Fine me: Local celebrity anarchist Jaggi Singh, vaguely famous for his arrest at the 1997 Vancouver APEC demonstration and his subsequent testimony at the APEC inquiry, set out on his latest activist project last Monday--slapping posters on city property in open defiance of the law. Singh believes postering falls under freedom-of-speech rights as guaranteed by the Charter, and hopes to be ticketed for the offense so he can challenge city bylaws in court.
