A ghoulish cigar-chomping dwarf named Pierre relaxes prior to last Friday's performance of Carnival Diablo: The Ultimate Sideshow. Pierre's performance consisted largely of cleaning up the other performers' broken glass, hot coals and other dangerous props--though for many he was still the star of the show. Carnival Diablo runs every weekend through June 26 at La Maison Hantée, 1037 Bleury.
