Captain's log, star date last Sunday: Handsome as ever (though perhaps a bit more portly), Montreal-born William Shatner, now 70 years old, returned to his hometown to tour the campus at McGill University--including, yes, the William Shatner University Centre. Shatner, also known as top-notch cop T.J. Hooker from TV's T.J. Hooker, walked around and barked incessantly about his life into a video camera, which was taping him for an upcoming CBC Life and Times documentary. One person who met Shatner described him as "a very nice person, if you ignore his gloriously narcissistic egomania."
