Angel >> Tax-free pizza! Bicycle couriers and rickshaw drivers rejoice! As reported in Tuesday's National Post, Toronto bike courier Wayne Scott has been fighting Revenue Canada since 1994, arguing that the extra food he must eat to do his physically demanding job should be considered fuel--which is a tax-deductible expense. He won. The Tax Court of Canada ruled that he can deduct food expenses of up to $11 per day--$8 for food and $3 for bottled water. Start collecting those receipts.

Insect >> Army guys who think themselves qualified to design brassieres Some like front clasps, others prefer the triple hook, and still others shirk support in favour of an extra bounce with their step. Whatever the case, the bra a woman chooses to wear is a highly individual matter. And men--most of whom suffer from perpetual breast envy while knowing nothing of actually having boobs--should stay out of it. There is something downright frightening about the Canadian army's recently announced plan to study bra design for its female troops. The project leader is not just a man, but an army captain. His description of boob "chafing" during "violent, physical activity" is reason enough for women to reclaim the right to clothe their breasts as they see fit.
