Angel >> Canadian Pacific Railway For realizing that people would rather walk or snowmobile across the country than waste time on a train, we salute CP Rail. This week, the company handed over 1,600 kms (roughly the distance from Montreal to Winnipeg) of unused track to the Trans Canada Trail Foundation, a band of do-gooders out to create the world's longest recreational walking/cycling path. Winding through every Canadian province and territory, the trail will measure 15,000 kms upon completion. The cost of one meter of trail: $40. The value of the CP donation: $21 million.

They've been asking this stupid question for years, and have yet to figure out they're the only ones who care about the answer. As if Canada needs a united right-wing alternative.
