No, it's not a pool of blood. This bicycle courier collapsed after spilling some water; he had just crossed the finish line at the first annual North American bicycle courier championships, held in Montreal last weekend. The race consisted of a 1,500-metre track with six checkpoints; contestants had to ride for 40 minutes and make as many checkpoint deliveries as possible. During qualifying, one racer actually made 72 deliveries. Toronto's Craig Sinclair emerged as men's champion; Stacey Hutton of Toronto was women's champion. Photo by Martin Savoie >>>
