This shoe was made for marchin': Anti-Nike protesters take to the street last Saturday in a papier-mâché sneaker big enough to fill the shoes of a corporate giant. Passing out leaflets carrying the slogan "Do it Just," the 30-odd activists marched along Ste-Catherine to protest Nike's use of sweatshop labour in Indonesia, Vietnam and China. According to the leaflets, workers regularly put in 12-hour days for 25 cents an hour. Photo by Gunther Gamper
